HLTH 2022: Post-Event Recap

POSTED January 14, 2023

Healthcare professionals gathered in Las Vegas November 13-16 for HLTH 2022. Designed to “gather the entire health ecosystem for an intimate, curated event experience,” this conference focused on accelerating innovation in the industry. HLTH attracts a broad range of attendees, including providers and health systems, payers, employer benefits leaders, consumer tech and wellness specialists, investors, and life sciences and pharma experts. And over 60% of the nearly 9500 attendees were at the VP level or higher.

Wave HDC was well represented at the event, with Bud Zuberer, VP of Sales, Rachel Miller, National Accounts Manager, and Bridget Ketron, Sales Director, all in attendance. The HLTH organizers did a great job designing the event and ensuring attendees had multiple networking opportunities. The Wave team was able to reconnect with several clients and meet new prospects. It’s always exciting to share the Wave story with new contacts while discussing what’s trending in revenue cycle management.

This show was a bit unusual for us because we didn’t exhibit or speak. But with over 100 sessions packed into four days, there was plenty to see and do! Using six stages simultaneously, speakers covered the gambit with sessions on various topics, including value-based care, behavioral health, health equity, and digital therapeutics.

Tuesday was Industry Night, capped off by a concert featuring world-renowned rapper and record executive Ludacris. What a way to end an evening! The concert venue was an ideal setting for socializing with potential clients.

The Wave team agrees that HLTH 2022 was a fantastic event, and they definitely plan to attend in 2023!
